    Today is dedicated to exploring Miyajima, one of Hiroshima’s most iconic destinations. The highlight of the day is Itsukushima Shrine, renowned for its striking red torii gate appearing to float on the water and regarded as one of Japan’s most recognisable scenic landmarks. Afterwards, enjoy time along Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street, discovering local snacks, souvenirs and the island’s lively atmosphere, before continuing to Miyajima Public Aquarium for a lighter, family-friendly encounter with the region’s marine life. As evening falls, watch the torii gate glow gold beneath the setting sun, one of the most memorable moments of the Hiroshima experience.

  • Day 3: Okunoshima | A Gentle Nature Escape

    The third day brings a different side of Hiroshima with an excursion to Okunoshima, better known as Rabbit Island.
