  • Rise at dawn to observe the morning ritual of alms giving as monks from all the temples walk through town to collect food for the day
  • Climb to the top of Mount Phousi for spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The best time is at dusk when the temperatures have dropped and you’ll be rewarded with amazing sunset views
  • The Night Market near Wat Mai and Sisavangvong Road, is the best place for souvenir shopping, particularly for H’mong textiles
