Please ensure your passport is valid more than 6 months from the date of return for every country you are visiting and there is sufficient space in your passport to allow for all immigration procedures, taking note that some South East Asian countries take up a full page for the visa sticker and need yet more space on a separate page for entry & exist stamps. Please make sure you will have valid visas as required for all destinations that you will travel on this trip. The Visa Information is indicated in your itinerary.

Trip Insurance & Travel Insurance

Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Trip Insurance and Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Trip insurance covers the cost of your trip should you be forced to cancel your trip before you start the trip. Travel insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc which could possibly happen during the trip.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required upon commitment of the tour depending on specific suppliers’ terms & conditions, the above terms & conditions may be modified.

Cancellation Policy

    Normal season & non-Japan/Korea
  • – Non-refundable 20% of the total tour cost for all confirmed booking
  • – 21 – 15 days prior to arrival date: 50% of the total tour cost
  • – 14 – 8 days prior to arrival date: 75% of the total tour cost
  • – 7 days or less prior to arrival date: 100% of the total tour cost
  • – Any cancellations should be made in writing.
  • – Certain hotels and land supplier may impose stricter cancellation policies or extended their cut-off dates, particularly during peak periods. In such cases our travel consultants will inform you of the exact payment and cancellation terms for those adhoc bookings.

    Peak season or with Japan/Korea
  • – 45 to 30 days prior to arrival date: 35% of the total tour cost.
  • – 30 to 15 days prior to arrival date: 50% of the total tour cost.
  • – 15 days or less prior to arrival date: 100% of the total tour cost.
  • – No-show or same-day cancellations: 100% of the total tour cost.
  • – Any cancellations should be made in writing.
  • – Certain hotels and land supplier may impose stricter cancellation policies or extended their cut-off dates, particularly during peak periods. In such cases our travel consultants will inform you of the exact payment and cancellation terms for those adhoc bookings

 Since payment by credit card is an international transaction will be made in favor of Trails of Indochina Limited, charge through Flywire, please check carefully with your bank issuer to ensure that no bank fees, no foreign transaction fees is applied from your bank or applied from the credit card company.

Trails of Indochina Ltd. or its agents shall not be held liable for (A) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider; and (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. Participants waive any claim against Trails of Indochina Ltd. for any such loss, damage, injury, or death. Participants understand that the itinerary, schedule, prices and services can alter without prior notice for any reason. Participants are solely responsible for being in sufficient health to undertake the tour and for taking all appropriate medical precautions. Trails of Indochina Ltd. strongly advises participants to obtain medical/trip and cancellation insurance.
